#PAR01 Passive Income Report July 2019

July is over and I am able to make my first report. No, I did not make millions and I am not feeling financially free, but the first tiny step is done. In June and July I reported about the following P2P platforms and invested money:

Beside Debitum Network there was no P2P platform, where I was invested over the whole month. Therefore I do not have any cool XIRR-calculation. And I doubt, that there will some in the future. I would like to focus on the passive income, as I already exclude platforms below 10% of interest rate with my rating.

My first passive income is 18,06 Euros

I will celebrate it like hell ?

I guess I will take my family to McDonalds. Of course this amount of passive money is not that big, but it is still a beginning. You just have to understand, that I have done nothing more than investing for that amount.

Sounds quite cool for the next months, whereas the first P2P platforms will have a full month of interest income. I think it will be easier to compare them later.

Tadaa, here it is: The official overview of passive income for July 2019: total 18,06 Euros

And what do I expect for the next month? Well, after calculating I think the next income will be around 40 Euros. At the moment I invested about 4.500 Euros, so the average interest rate is around 11%. That makes it easy to calculate.

Not focusing on the interest rate by now

Do you think I will reach my financial freedom with 4.5k? Guess not. So I am not really interested in optimizing the interest rate and calculating the last Euro therefore. At the moment there are bigger tasks for me to work on.

Until now I have not decided what to focus on, but to focus on projects like selfpublishing and websites in niches. A friend of mine has an online-shop, where I do the SEO-part. This is big fun, as we doubled the last years result in the first six months of this year.

In August I will be on vacation for 3 weeks. This is family-time and do not want to work that much. But I would like to end up with my “thinking-about-what-to-do”. Until now I tried several things and I want to take myself the time during the holidays, to validate, what has the biggest outcome for me. Of course the financial aspects are important, but also the fun and motivation.

Nevertheless, I will focus on making money to invest.

What is my challenge for August?

Well, my biggest challenge at the moment is to promote myself via video. I do not really like it, but there is a bigger project coming up, where I have to do it. I want to make Use-Case-Videos in my office for a solution, we are working on at the moment.

Let’s challenge myself: I will set up my Youtube channel and produce 5 short videos (3-5 minutes) in August.

Do not like it at all. But here the “training” is quite hidden and no one comes into my office. I think it will be a good preparation for the big tasks to come in my main job quite soon.

Follow me in my life

If you want to see what my creative “decision making” will be about, just follow me on Instagram.

By the end of this week we will leave first to Denmark and afterwards to Norway for one week. About 50 kilometers from Kristiansand in Norway we rented a small flat somewhere in the forest. It is quite a long time ago I visited Norway, but the rest of my family has never been there. Being quite curios about the impressions.

Holidays in summer 2019

The next week we will leave to Sweden. It is a 500 kilometer ride, but the way is pretty nice. We will go north from Kristiansand, use the ferries and go downwards in Sweden in the outer area of Gothenburg. Here we will visit my parents, grandma and grandpa of our kids.

Enjoy the summer – and challenge yourself

That is it for now I guess. I really look forward to our holidays. Having a cool location and nice people around, but also focus on my decisions to make – feels pretty good.

What is your challenge for August? Have you already decided?
